Il Fiore Della Cucina - The Flower of the Kitchen

Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil is of the Tuscan varietals grown in California. The olives, handpicked at our grove in view of the Templeton Gap, are  processed less than 24 hours after harvest.

Our first harvest was November 2005. We harvested 1800 lbs of olives resulting in 42 gallons of extra virgin olive oil. The olive oil won a silver medal at the Los Angeles County Fair International Extra Virgin Olive Oil competition. The next two years we had a very limited amount of olive oil due to frost damage. We are very happy our trees have now recovered.

Tuscali Olive Oil can be found at Pier 46 in Templeton.

Our 2008-  2009  Tuscan Extra Virgin Olive Oil  won a silver medal at the Los Angeles Fair International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition. We  won a gold medal,  best of class and best of show at the California Mid State Fair.

Our 2009-2010 Tuscan EVOO is also a gold metal winner. This year our oil is a little milder than last years which was a very robust oil.

Tuscali Olive Grove is located on the Central Coast of California near the town of Templeton.  Our first planting of 450 trees in 2001 consisted of Leccino, Frantoio, Maurino and Pendolino trees. In 2005 we planted 250 Moraiolo and 50 Frantoio trees. These are the trees grown in the Tuscany area of Italy. Thus, we have named our olive oil "Tuscali" which is a combination of Tuscany and California.
